Fire Door Inspections
We provide fire door Inspections, helping customers to achieve compliance with all regulatory requirements. Our Inspection will meet the requirements of the 2005 Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order. It will also assist the responsible person for the property in ensuring the fire doors are fit for purpose and are capable of providing adequate protection.
We use passive fire product monitoring software ‘FireDNA’ using this intelligent software it provides a ‘Golden Thread Of Data’. This catalogues manufacturers product data, installation details, inspections and more, passing all relevant information onto building owners, facility management & TMO’s. All this information can then be accessed by Fire Door Inspectors, Maintenance or even the general public by scanning the QR or NFC Tag with a smartphone.
We can help building operators or the ‘responsible person’ carry out the following:
- Undertake a full inspection of fire and escape doors. We will check and test over 25 individual factors and components of your doors.
- Provide you with recommendations regarding maintenance and care of fire doors.
- Attach identification labels in the form of Numbered, QR Tags or NFC Tags on fire doors to identify each fire door surveyed and link the door to the relevant reports. This label identifies when the fire door was inspected and demonstrates to the users / residents of the building that the fire doors have been surveyed professionally.
- Advise you on how remedial works can be carried out.
- Provide Discounted Fire Door Maintenance Contract Plans.
- Detailed reports including photographic evidence and remediation costs if necessary.
In addition, we are able to carried out desktop surveys for specifiers, builders, carpenters or fire door installers to check whether the proposed fire door installations will be as per certification or test evidence requirements.
